Content display & menu management

The are several way to manage content display & menu in Drupal. First, we have to determine what type of menu style we need and then we can use method accordingly.

1) Create menu using taxonomy

Create new vocabulary

1. Create taxonomy term example 'Category'
2. Create several Term for category. Example 'Fruit', 'Vegetable'

Create content & put the category

Create new node with title 'Apple' & select 'Fruit' as category

Add menu to Main Menu

Go to Main Menu..
Menu link title: Apple
Link: /fruit
Parent link: Fruit
When we click the menu, drupal will listed the node with teaser format

Benefit using this method

• We no need to add child menu item in Menu
• Just create a new node & select the 'category'
• When we click menu category, all node under that category will display as a teaser
• No need to install other menu module

If we need to add child menu

• Just edit the node and tick the Provide a menu link
• Select the Parent link
• Save

2) Using Book Module

Book is a core drupal module and can be used to class node into book category. Here are the step

• Enable book module
• Create node for book
• When book module was enable & when we create new content or edit, we have an option to select into the book. 
• Create / add menu for the book
• When we click the menu, drupal will display all the list with title
